1Lateness E+W

(1) A MGA is guilty of an Offence if they—

(a)are late for briefing, handover or the start of a rostered duty;

(b)arrive at their shift unprepared for the rostered duty.

(2)An offence under this section is aggravated if a MGA—

(a)gives, or attempts to give, a poor excuse as to their lateness.

(i)a poor excuse shall be determined by 'the team' as defined in Section 15, or by a person of the rank of Team Leader or above.

(b)attempts to sneak in to conceal their lateness.

(c)is late on three or more occasions in a rolling three calender months.

(d)is found to still be asleep when telephoned by their supervisor.

(3)The only defence under this section is from further lateness if the MGA has realised that lateness would ensue and diverted to buy cakes on route. Immediate payment will always be commended.
