11Leaving / Joining Cakes E+W

(1)A MGA is guilty of an Offence if they—

(a)they permanently leave—

(i)The Ambulance Service;

(ii)The Ambulance Trust in which they currently serve;

(iii)The Area/Section;

(iv)The Team;

(a)they leave for a period in excess of six months—

(i)The Ambulance Service;

(1)On a non medical excursion, Army / Navy / RAF reserves;

(2)On a gap year;

(3)On a sabbatical of any other kind;

(ii)The Ambulance Trust in which they currently serve;

(iii)Area or Section;

(iv)The Team;

(2)An Officer is guilty of an Offence if—

(a)they join a new;

(i)Ambulance Trust;

(ii)Area / Section;

(iii)The Team;

(3)All offences under Section 11(1) and Section 11(2) apply even if such a move or transfer is made against the MGA's will and/or is a result of a promotion or is due to retirement.
