6Emergency / Red Button / Man Down Button Cakes E+W

(1)A MGA is guilty of an Offence if they—

(a)they activate the red button in a genuine emergency;

(b)they activate the red button in an emergency that proves to be not as serious as they shouted about;

(c)the red button is accidentally activated;

(2)Any offence under Section 6 (1) is aggravated if any of the following apply—

(a)The activation is accidental, but results in Police attendance;

(b)Any offence under Section 6 (1)(c);

(3)Any offences under Section (6)(1) that are committed by the pressing of the Ambulance red button, the MGA pressing said button is to be the barer of the offence, but the fine may be jointly paid between the crew.
