11Leaving / Joining CakesE+W

(1)An Officer is guilty of an Offence if —

(a)they permanently leave—

(i)The Police;

(ii)The Police force in which they currently serve;

(iii)The Borough or Division;

(iv)The Team or Section;

(a)they leave for in excess of six months—

(i)The Police;

(1)On a non police excursion, Army / Navy / RAF reserves;

(2)On a gap year;

(3)On a sabbatical of any other kind;

(ii)The Police force in which they currently serve;

(iii)The Borough or Division;

(iv)The Team or Section;

(2)An Officer is guilty of an Offence if—

(a)they join a new;

(i)Police Force;

(ii)The Borough or Division;

(iii)The Team or Section;

(3)All offences under Section 11(1) and Section 11(2) apply even if such a move or posting is made against the officers will, is a result of a promotion or is due to retirement.

(4)An Officer is guilty of an Offence if—

(a)pass a exam in relation to promotion;

(a)pass a promotion interview board;

(a)get promoted;
